Smoke N Grill 14Ft Food Trailer – Commercial Concession Kitchen
This 14 ft food trailer is designed for operators who need a real commercial kitchen capable of handling grilled and fried menus during continuous service hours.
The Smoke N Grill 14Ft Food Trailer is designed for operators who need more than a starter unit. This trailer is built as a complete commercial kitchen capable of handling fried food, grilled items, and full hot food menus during continuous service hours.
Every part of the trailer is selected for durability, performance, and health department approval. Instead of lightweight materials or residential equipment, this build uses commercial-grade components installed for daily use, high temperatures, and long operating shifts.
This layout works well for BBQ concepts, grill menus, fried food vendors, event catering, and permanent locations.
Exterior & Service Area
The trailer includes a 72” x 36” serving window with an awning door. The large opening improves customer flow while providing weather protection during operation. A partial exterior wrap allows branding while maintaining a clean professional appearance.
Power is supplied by a quiet 9,000-watt generator installed inside a protective steel cage. The cage protects the generator during transport and keeps proper ventilation while running.
A 100 lb propane tank is mounted on the front of the trailer using reinforced steel mounting brackets. This secure mounting system keeps the tank stable and safely positioned away from the cooking line.
A rooftop 15,000 BTU air conditioning unit maintains interior comfort during long cooking hours and summer events.
Interior Construction
Inside the trailer, anodized aluminum walls and ceiling panels provide a washable, non-porous surface required for commercial kitchens. These materials resist corrosion and grease buildup and allow easy cleaning after service.
The floor uses heavy-duty black rubber diamond flooring designed for slip resistance and durability in wet kitchen environments.
Stainless steel prep tables and backsplash panels create a professional cooking workspace and protect wall surfaces near cooking equipment.
Cooking Line Equipment
The Smoke N Grill trailer is equipped to run a full hot food operation:
• Two 50 lb commercial deep fryers
• 24” griddle with 2 burners and 30” oven range combo
• 24” charbroiler
• Holding and proofing cabinet
This configuration supports a large menu including burgers, cheesesteaks, fried foods, BBQ items, chicken, and breakfast foods.
All appliances are commercial stainless steel equipment designed for continuous operation, not occasional use.
Ventilation & Heat Removal
Above the cooking line is a stainless steel hood system with exhaust fan. This removes grease vapors, smoke, and heat from the trailer during cooking.
The cooking wall area is protected with stainless steel surfaces to meet non-combustible requirements typically required by fire inspectors.
Refrigeration & Food Storage
Food safety and inspection approval require proper temperature control. The trailer includes:
• 23 cu ft reach-in refrigerator
• 23 cu ft reach-in freezer
• 29” refrigerated sandwich prep table
This allows separation between frozen products, refrigerated storage, and active prep ingredients.
Plumbing & Sanitation
The sink system supports standard mobile kitchen sanitation procedures:
• 3-compartment wash sink
• Hand washing sink
• On-demand water heater
This setup supports washing, rinsing, sanitizing, and proper employee hygiene during operation.
Built for Work, Not Display
All installed equipment is commercial NSF-rated and intended for regular use. The Smoke N Grill 14Ft Food Trailer is designed for operators planning real business operation, not occasional weekend use.
It provides the cooking capacity, ventilation, refrigeration, and power needed to operate consistently while meeting common inspection standards across many states.
Who This Trailer Is For
This 14 ft food trailer is ideal for startup restaurants, caterers, fair vendors, and operators moving from a tent setup into a licensed mobile kitchen. The cooking capacity allows a full menu without overcrowding the workspace. Operators can run lunch rush, late night service, or weekend festivals without exceeding equipment limits.
Because the trailer uses commercial refrigeration, proper ventilation, and adequate power supply, it is suitable for most county inspections. The layout is designed so staff can work safely without crossing hot and cold preparation zones.
