This black 16ft x 8.5ft BBQ food trailer, model BOW1687, was built by Biz On Wheels with a fully stainless steel interior, a caged Honda generator and a 3/4 partial 3M wrap. It is certified to NSF, ETL and UL standards.
Dimensions and Chassis
The trailer measures 16ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7ft high, riding on dual 5,500 lb axles with electric brakes. All lighting is LED.
Power and Climate Control
A quiet Honda gas generator is installed in a cage on a slide-out, and a 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the kitchen comfortable during long BBQ service days.
Serving Window and Exterior
A serving window with an awning door provides a shaded service counter, and the entry door includes a screen. The black exterior carries a 3/4 partial 3M graphic wrap.
Stainless Kitchen, Ventilation and Sinks
The interior is fully stainless steel with aluminum tread diamond plate flooring. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan ventilates the cooking line. A three-compartment sink and hand washing sink meet health requirements, and one 100 lb LP tank is stored in a rear compartment with a door. All equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.
Who This Build Is For
A 16ft all-stainless BBQ trailer suits pitmasters and catering businesses that want a durable, certified kitchen for serving smoked meats at events. It tows easily behind a pickup and is built for long service days.
Customizing a Build Like This
Every Biz On Wheels trailer is manufactured from the frame up and built to order, so this layout can be changed to fit your menu and towing vehicle. Common options include trailer length (from 8ft up to 28ft and beyond), axle ratings, screened or open porches, generator size or inverter battery systems, serving window sizes, hood length, refrigeration and cooking equipment, and full or partial wraps. Trailers are built to NSF, ETL and UL standards to simplify permitting. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
