Concession Food Trailer – 20ft x 8.5ft

Biz On Wheels built this 20ft x 8.5ft concession food trailer in black with chrome trim, combining a sleek exterior with a full commercial kitchen. A quiet diesel generator mounted on the trailer tongue powers the build.

Dimensions and Chassis

The trailer measures 20ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7ft high inside. It rides on dual 5,500 lb axles with electric brakes, and all exterior lights are LED for visibility on the road and at night events.

Power and Exterior

A quiet diesel generator is installed on the front tongue of the trailer, keeping it outside the kitchen and away from the serving window. The black exterior with chrome trim gives the trailer a polished, professional appearance.

Serving Window and Entry

A serving window with an awning door provides easy service access and shade for customers. The entry door includes a screen for ventilation and insect control.

Kitchen Interior and Ventilation

The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with all-LED interior lighting for bright, energy-efficient illumination. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan ventilates the cooking area, and aluminum tread diamond plate flooring adds safety and durability. All equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.

Sinks and Propane

A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink are installed to comply with health regulations. One 100 lb LP tank is securely stored in a compartment to fuel the cooking equipment.

Who This Build Is For

A 20ft trailer with a tongue-mounted diesel generator suits operators who want a large kitchen and a clean, quiet service side. It works well for full menus at fairs, festivals and semi-permanent locations where a black and chrome look helps the trailer stand out.

Customizing a Build Like This

Every Biz On Wheels trailer is manufactured from the frame up and built to order, so this layout can be changed to fit your menu and towing vehicle. Common options include trailer length (from 8ft up to 28ft and beyond), axle ratings, screened or open porches, generator size or inverter battery systems, serving window sizes, hood length, refrigeration and cooking equipment, and full or partial wraps. Trailers are built to NSF, ETL and UL standards to simplify permitting. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
