Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Truck

This custom Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck was built by Biz On Wheels as a scoop shop on wheels, with a dipping cabinet freezer, stainless steel countertops and a full-body graphic wrap in the brand’s signature style.

Power and Climate Control

A Cummins Onan quiet under-mount 7KW gas generator supplies power to the freezer, lights and A/C. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable and helps the freezer hold temperature during summer events.

Dipping Cabinet Freezer and Serving Window

A dipping cabinet freezer holds tubs of ice cream for scooping right at the counter. The serving window is equipped with an awning door, giving customers shade while they choose their flavors.

Interior and Countertops

The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring. All countertops are stainless steel and NSF certified, and all equipment is commercial-grade premium stainless steel.

Sinks and Branding

A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health requirements for serving scooped ice cream. The full-body graphic wrap gives the truck the instantly recognizable Ben & Jerry’s look for promotions, sampling and events.

Who This Build Is For

Ice cream brands and franchise operators use branded scoop trucks for sampling tours, community events and catering. A dipping cabinet setup lets the truck serve hand-scooped ice cream just like a scoop shop.

Customizing a Build Like This

Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
