Blue Mountain Brewery Food Truck – 14ft Step Van

This custom 14ft step van was built by Biz On Wheels for Blue Mountain Brewery, giving the brewery its own mobile kitchen to serve food alongside its beer at events and on site. The compact build includes a wide serving window, a full commercial kitchen and a full-body graphic wrap in the brewery’s branding.

Climate Control and Serving Window

A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable while the crew cooks. On the side of the truck, a 72-inch serving window with an awning door creates a large service counter with shade for customers lining up to order.

Exterior and Entry

A rear entry door with a screen provides ventilation and pest control. The full-body graphic wrap gives the truck a professional, eye-catching appearance that ties directly to the Blue Mountain Brewery brand.

Kitchen Interior and Ventilation

The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with a stainless steel backsplash, a combination that is durable and easy to keep clean. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and makeup air fan provides proper airflow and safety over the cooking line. Aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring adds traction, and the kitchen is outfitted with commercial-grade premium stainless steel, NSF-certified equipment.

Sinks, Propane and Health Standards

A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health and safety standards, and a 100 lb under-mount LP tank with an access door supplies propane to the cooking equipment. The result is a compact 14ft brewery food truck that is simple to operate and ready for inspection.

Who This Build Is For

Breweries, wineries and taprooms often add a food truck so guests can eat without the brewery running a full restaurant. A compact 14ft truck like Blue Mountain Brewery’s parks easily on site, carries the brewery’s branding, and can travel to festivals and private events as an extension of the brand.

Customizing a Build Like This

Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
