Curry Leaf 18ft Food truck

Biz On Wheels built this custom Indian food truck for Curry Leaf on an 18ft cargo step van. The build features an all-stainless 304 kitchen, an 84-inch serving window, a 12KW inverter generator and a full-body 3M wrap with chrome wheel simulators.

Power System

A 12KW commercial quiet generator with an inverter system supplies power to the kitchen, with the inverter providing clean power for sensitive equipment.

84-Inch Serving Window

An 84-inch serving window with an awning door gives the crew a wide service counter and shades customers while they order.

Stainless Steel 304 Kitchen and Ventilation

The interior is finished entirely in 304 stainless steel, a durable, hygienic choice for a busy Indian kitchen. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and makeup air fan handles heat and smoke from the cooking line. Aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring adds traction, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.

Sinks, Propane and Exterior

A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health requirements, and a 100 lb under-mount LP tank with an access door supplies propane. Outside, a full-body 3M graphic wrap, chrome wheel simulators and a backup camera complete the build.

Who This Build Is For

An 18ft truck with an all-stainless 304 kitchen suits Indian and other spice-forward cuisines that need durable, easy-to-clean surfaces and strong ventilation. The wide window and inverter power support busy lunch service and events.

Customizing a Build Like This

Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
