This 18ft falafel concession trailer, model BOW1887, was built by Biz On Wheels with a screwless glue-on body, a caged 15KW generator, an 84-inch serving window and two 100 lb propane tanks, giving a Mediterranean food business plenty of capacity for frying and fast service.
Dimensions and Chassis
The trailer measures 18ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7ft high, built as Biz On Wheels model BOW1887. Two 5,500 lb axles with electric brakes handle towing, and all lighting is LED for visibility on the road and at night events. The screwless, glue-on body gives a smooth, modern exterior.
Power and Climate Control
A gas-powered 15KW generator is installed in a cage, providing plenty of power for fryers, refrigeration and lighting. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the kitchen comfortable while the fryers run.
84-Inch Serving Window
An 84 x 36-inch serving window with an awning door provides a wide service counter for handing out falafel wraps and plates. A 36 x 72-inch entry door with a screen provides access.
Kitchen and Ventilation
The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with aluminum tread diamond plate flooring. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan ventilates the cooking area, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.
Sinks and Propane
A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health regulations. Two 100 lb LP tanks are housed in back cases, giving the trailer a large propane supply for long service days.
Exterior and Certification
The exterior is finished with a partial body graphic wrap by 3M. The trailer is certified to NSF, ETL and UL standards, which helps simplify health department permitting. The large window and fuel capacity make this layout well suited to busy festivals and lunch crowds.
