This flat black 16ft food trailer, model BOW1687, was built by Biz On Wheels for Flipped. It combines a sleek screwless body with a 72-inch LED-lit serving window, on-demand hot water and a stainless-backed kitchen.
Dimensions and Chassis
The trailer measures 16ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7.5ft high, built as Biz On Wheels model BOW1687. Two 5,500 lb axles with electric brakes handle towing, and all lighting is LED for visibility on the road and at night events. The screwless, glue-on body is finished in flat black.
Power and Climate Control
An on-demand propane water heater supplies continuous hot water for the sinks. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable.
Serving Window
A 72 x 36-inch serving window with an awning door has LED module lights in the awning. A 30 x 72-inch entry door with a screen door and sliding step provides access.
Kitchen and Ventilation
The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with a stainless steel backsplash and stainless wall shelving, with rubber gray diamond flooring. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan ventilates the cooking area, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.
Sinks and Propane
A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health regulations. Two 40 lb LP tanks supply propane. The hood includes make-up air.
Exterior and Certification
A partial body graphic wrap by 3M finishes the flat black exterior. The trailer is certified to NSF, ETL and UL standards, which helps simplify health department permitting. The modern look and practical layout suit burgers, sandwiches and street food menus.
