14ft Food Truck Cutaway Van – Complete Custom Build

This 14ft cargo cutaway van is a complete custom food truck build by Biz On Wheels. The cutaway chassis offers a smaller, easier-to-drive alternative to a step van while still holding a full commercial kitchen.

Power and Climate Control

A quiet under-mount Onan 6.5KW LP generator supplies power, running on the same propane that fuels the kitchen. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable.

Serving Window

A 60-inch serving window with an awning door provides a shaded service counter sized for one or two crew members.

Kitchen Interior and Ventilation

The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with a stainless steel 304 backsplash behind the cooking area. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and makeup air fan maintains airflow. Aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring adds durability, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.

Sinks, Propane and Wrap

A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health requirements. Two 100 lb LP tanks are stored in a rear compartment to fuel both the generator and the cooking equipment. A full-body graphic wrap completes the build.

Who This Build Is For

A 14ft cutaway van suits owners who want a smaller, easier-to-drive alternative to a step van. It works well for coffee, breakfast, tacos and focused menus where a full-size truck is not needed.

Customizing a Build Like This

Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
