Biz On Wheels built this 18ft step van for Herb’N Eats. The truck combines a 72-inch serving window and TV menu display with a 7KW gas generator, air conditioning and a commercial kitchen with a full hood system.
18ft Step Van
The 18ft step van offers enough room for a complete cooking line and prep area while remaining easy to maneuver into tight spots at markets and events.
Power and Climate Control
A quiet under-mount 7KW gas generator powers the kitchen, lighting and A/C, and a 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable during service.
Serving Window and TV Display
A 72-inch serving window with an awning door provides a generous service counter and shade for customers. A TV compartment with a display monitor and awning door shows the menu and specials, keeping the visible menu easy to update.
Kitchen and Ventilation
The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with a stainless steel backsplash behind the cooking line, a durable combination that is simple to keep clean. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and makeup air fan maintains proper airflow. Aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring and commercial-grade premium stainless steel, NSF-certified equipment complete the kitchen.
Sinks, Propane and Entry
A three-compartment sink and hand washing sink meet health requirements. A 29-gallon under-mount LP tank with an access door supplies propane safely from outside the kitchen, and a rear entry door with a screen provides ventilation and pest control.
Branding
A full-body graphic wrap gives Herb’N Eats a distinctive look, helping the truck build recognition with repeat customers at its regular stops.
