This 18ft concession food trailer, model BOW1887, was built by Biz On Wheels for Huntingdon College. It gives the campus dining team a large mobile kitchen with an 84-inch serving window, a caged 15KW generator and a full-body 3M wrap.
Dimensions and Chassis
The trailer measures 18ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7ft high, built as Biz On Wheels model BOW1887. Two heavy-duty 5,500 lb axles with electric brakes handle towing, and all lighting is LED for visibility on the road and at night events. The screwless, glue-on body provides a smooth exterior.
Power and Climate Control
A 15KW gas generator is installed in a secure cage, supplying plenty of power for the kitchen. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the interior comfortable.
84-Inch Serving Window
One large 84 x 36-inch serving window with an awning door gives a wide counter for serving students quickly. A 36 x 72-inch entry door with a screen and slide-out steps provides access.
Kitchen and Ventilation
The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with aluminum tread diamond plate flooring. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan ventilates the cooking area, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.
Sinks and Propane
A three-compartment sink and a hand washing sink meet health regulations. Two 100 lb LP tanks are housed in back cases.
Exterior and Certification
A full-body 3M graphic wrap brands the trailer for Huntingdon College. The trailer is certified to NSF, ETL and UL standards, which helps simplify health department permitting. A trailer like this lets colleges bring dining to athletic events, residence halls and outdoor campus gatherings.
