Biz On Wheels built this 20ft concession food trailer, model BOW2087, for RAMS Kitchen. It combines a gloss black screwless body, an entirely stainless steel interior, an 11KW Kubota diesel generator and a 16ft electric retractable awning.
Dimensions and Construction
The trailer measures 20ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7.5ft high. Dual 6,000 lb axles with electric brakes carry the build, and the screwless glue-on body has a sleek gloss black finish with LED lighting.
Power and Climate Control
A quiet 11KW Kubota diesel generator supplies power, and dual 15,000 BTU A/C units keep the 20ft kitchen comfortable.
Serving Window and 16ft Awning
A 72 x 36-inch serving window with an awning door provides the service counter, and a 16ft electric retractable awning shades customers along the length of the trailer. A 30 x 72-inch screened entry door gives side access.
Stainless Kitchen and Sinks
The interior is entirely stainless steel with aluminum diamond plate flooring and a stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan and make-up air. A three-compartment sink plus hand washing sink meet health requirements, a 100 lb LP tank supplies propane, and the trailer is NSF, ETL and UL certified with a partial 3M wrap.
Who This Build Is For
A 20ft gloss black trailer with a 16ft electric awning suits restaurants and caterers that want a premium mobile kitchen with a large shaded service area. The all-stainless interior and diesel power support high-volume menus.
Customizing a Build Like This
Every Biz On Wheels trailer is manufactured from the frame up and built to order, so this layout can be changed to fit your menu and towing vehicle. Common options include trailer length (from 8ft up to 28ft and beyond), axle ratings, screened or open porches, generator size or inverter battery systems, serving window sizes, hood length, refrigeration and cooking equipment, and full or partial wraps. Trailers are built to NSF, ETL and UL standards to simplify permitting. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
