Biz On Wheels built this 15ft step van for Rocky Top BBQ Co., combining a fiery flame-and-pig graphic wrap with a BBQ-ready kitchen that includes a smoker cabinet, a range and a steam table for holding smoked meats.
Flame Graphic Wrap
The full-body wrap features flames and a large pig silhouette on the rear of the truck, with the Rocky Top BBQ name and contact details on the sides, making it easy to spot at events.
BBQ Smoker and Cooking Equipment
Inside, a vertical smoker cabinet lets the crew smoke meats right on the truck. A gas range with an oven sits under a stainless steel hood system, and a steam table keeps pulled pork, brisket and sides hot during service.
Serving Window
A serving window with an awning door runs along the side of the truck, with a stainless counter for plating and service.
Interior, Sinks and Propane
The kitchen is finished in stainless steel with aluminum diamond plate flooring. A three-compartment sink and hand washing sink meet health requirements, and an exterior compartment provides access to the propane system.
Who This Build Is For
A 15ft BBQ truck with a smoker cabinet and steam table fits pitmasters who want to smoke and serve from the same vehicle. It works well for BBQ catering, festivals and regular weekly stops where customers come back for smoked meats and sides.
Customizing a Build Like This
Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
