This custom pizza truck was built by Biz On Wheels for Village In Pizza on a new heavy-duty Ford F59 20ft cargo step van. It includes a 12KW diesel generator, an 84-inch serving window, on-demand hot water and full stainless steel refrigeration and shelving.
New Ford F59 Chassis
The truck is built on a new Ford F59 20ft cargo step van with a heavy-duty 20,000 lb GVW, giving plenty of capacity for pizza ovens, refrigeration and supplies.
Power and Climate Control
A quiet under-mount Cummins Onan 12KW diesel generator with a slide-out runs from an 18-gallon diesel tank with a fuel gauge. Two 15,000 BTU A/C units keep the kitchen comfortable.
Serving Window and Entry
An 84-inch serving window with an awning door gives a long service counter. A rear entry door with a screen and a side entry with a flip-up step provide crew access.
Kitchen, Refrigeration and Water
An NSF-certified stainless hood system with an exhaust fan and make-up air fan ventilates the cooking line. Stainless steel countertops, wall shelving and commercial refrigeration are all NSF certified. An on-demand propane water heater, 30-gallon fresh water tank and 40-gallon waste tank supply NSF three-compartment and hand washing sinks, and two 29-gallon under-mount LP tanks provide propane. The interior is anodized aluminum with aluminum tread brite diamond plate flooring, and a full-body 3M wrap brands the truck.
Who This Build Is For
A pizza truck on a heavy-duty Ford F59 chassis suits pizzerias that want to take their brand to events, catering jobs and new neighborhoods. On-demand hot water and generous refrigeration support long service days.
Customizing a Build Like This
Every Biz On Wheels food truck is custom built to order, so a truck like this can be adapted to your menu, crew size and budget. Common changes include the step van length (from 12ft up to 22ft), generator size and fuel type, the number and size of serving windows, cooking and refrigeration equipment, awnings, TV menu displays and the wrap design. Each build uses commercial NSF-certified equipment and is laid out to meet local health and fire codes. Most custom builds take about 60 to 90 days depending on the job.
