Biz On Wheels built this compact 10ft x 8.5ft food trailer, model BOW1087, for a Middle Eastern food business. Despite its small size, it has two serving windows, a full hood system, air conditioning and a full-body 3M wrap, plus LED lighting all around the trailer.
Dimensions and Chassis
The trailer measures 10ft long, 8.5ft wide and 7ft high, built as Biz On Wheels model BOW1087. Dual 3,500 lb axles with electric brakes handle towing, and all lighting is LED for visibility on the road and at night events. Additional LED lights around the trailer make it stand out after dark.
Power and Climate Control
A quiet Honda 3,000-watt gas generator is installed in a compartment with a slide-out. A 15,000 BTU A/C unit keeps the small interior comfortable.
Serving Windows
Two serving windows, each with an awning door, let the crew serve from two points at once, which is a big advantage for a trailer this compact. The entry door includes a screen for ventilation and insect control.
Kitchen and Ventilation
The interior is finished in anodized aluminum with aluminum tread diamond plate flooring. A stainless steel hood system with an exhaust fan provides airflow and odor control over the cooking area, and all equipment is commercial-grade stainless steel and NSF certified.
Sinks and Propane
A one-compartment sink and a hand washing sink are installed to comply with health regulations. One 20 lb LP tank is securely housed in a compartment.
Exterior and Certification
The white trailer is finished with a full-body graphic wrap by 3M. The trailer is certified to NSF, ETL and UL standards, which helps simplify health department permitting. Its small footprint makes it easy to tow and fit into tight spots at markets, campuses and street fairs.
